Welcome to the finance & operations section of the ECF website.

The finance and operations areas of ECF provide support to the school across a number of key areas that are important to the safe and sound operation of the school.  The finance functions include, but are not limited to:  accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, budgeting, financial and expense management and payroll.  The operations functions include, but are not limited to:  facilities (including building maintenance, construction and capital projects), technology, human resources, benefits, sustainability, vendor management and risk management.
 
Our goal is to manage all aspects of ECF’s finances and operations in an efficient manner, while supporting the growing and changing programmatic needs of the school.

Finance

The finance department or business office, managed by Roura Rosales, handles all of ECF’s financial and accounting operations.  Our goal is to manage all aspects of ECF’s finances efficiently while meeting the school’s changing and growing programmatic and operational needs.

Human Resources & Payroll

Our HR department supports over 400 full-time and part-time faculty and staff. ECF is proud to offer highly competitive compensation and benefits programs, and we will continue to strive to achieve the best and most well-balanced programs for our employees.

Facilities Management

ECF’s two campuses are managed by our three directors of facilities– Joe Piselli at our Manhattan or Ethical Culture campus, and Gene Kivlan at our Fieldston campus. Our goal is to provide secure, safe, environmentally sound, clean and comfortable venues for teaching, learning, and growth.
