Mission The mission of FEP is aligned with Felix Adler’s original focus of providing a quality education for the children of working class families. FEP is a Fieldston School educational outreach program for academically motivated youngsters attending NYC public middle schools in four of the five boroughs. A few of these students may be deemed academically and behaviorally “at risk,” but with FEP’s guidance, skilled educational enrichment intervention and patience, they will begin to realize their scholastic potential. FEP is designed to make learning an exciting and educationally enriching total experience for the students through leadership training, social development classes, community service, and an active alumni mentoring program, as we guide them and their parents through this 36-month journey towards entrance into an appropriate college preparatory high school.
