The main feature of the fall 2012 issue of the Reporter offers a close-up look at ECF’s inaugural Progressive Teaching Institute. Held last summer, it afforded our educators the chance to study, experience, and celebrate the school’s progressive pedagogical practices. There is also a Homecoming recap and scrapbook, while a peek inside the ECF archives reveals images of students engaged in wintertime and holiday-related activities.
Under “ECF News,” read about the rooftop greenhouse returning to EC, the Giving Tree breaking records, the NYSAIS self-study and visit, the growth of Loyal Oaks, and the inaugural Community Read at ECF—featuring Ken Robinson’s Out of Our Minds.
