Fieldston Coach Diane Toth described this championship game as "an awesome game all around" as the Varsity Field Hockey Team beat Brearley 3-2 in overtime to win the AAIS League Tournament Championship.

With Fieldston ahead 1-0 and 38 seconds left in regulation, Brearley tied the game to send it to overtime. Fieldston scored first in overtime and Brearley countered with two minutes left to tie the game for the second time. Fieldston finally prevailed to win the Tournament Championship in penalty strokes.

Congratulations to Fieldston's Varsity Field Hockey team for also winning the Ivy Preparatory School League Championship, AAIS League Championship as well as the AAIS Tournament Championship.

The Fieldston field hockey team moves into the NYSAIS Tournament as the #2 seed and, once again, will face Brearley (#7 seed) in the state quarter finals. The game will be played Wednesday, October 30 at 2:30pm at Fieldston.
