The power is back on for Fieldston Middle and Upper. All divisions will open tomorrow.
The ECF community gathers virtually at our
temporary Facebook page.

Dear ECF Community,
After the destructive events of Hurricane Sandy, a number of our faculty, staff, and families have suffered loss of different magnitudes. Some are without homes, and many without power and heat. In the meantime, there has been an outpouring of support to those community members in need. Many of our students and families are volunteering at local organizations, and homes have been opened to those experiencing major disruption to their daily lives. Throughout this we have been reminded of the strength of the ECF community and our neighbors.
Since we cannot come together in person, we want to gather virtually. The school has created a temporary, private Facebook group “The ECF Community Responds to Hurricane Sandy” for the exclusive use of ECF. To join this group you must be a current parent/guardian, student (at least 13 years old, per Facebook rules), ECF teacher/staff, alumnus/a, or a parent of a graduate. Please join us at:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/ecfcommunity/
We ask you to post service opportunities, share your experiences, and request help if you need it. Together, let us see the possibility of what learning and doing can bring.
Best,
Damian J. Fernandez
Head of School
