Dear ECF parents,
In the words of ECF’s founder, Felix Adler: “...parents and teachers, school and home, must join their influences if the best results are to be achieved in the education of children.” The P&T’s mission is to cultivate this partnership, by providing appropriate means for parents and caregivers to be involved in the life of the school.
The organization of the P&T reflects the desire to be collaborative. All ECF caregivers and faculty are P&T members, as defined in our By-Laws. Our governing bodies, school-wide and within the four ECF divisions, have parents and school administrators working jointly.
We strive to realize our mission by facilitating communication among our members. We sponsor programs and events to build community, to help advance understanding of children and their development, and to encourage financial support of the school.
