Assemblies

Approximately twice a month, on Thursday morning, the entire Fieldston student body (upper and middle) gathers in the auditorium for a 50-minute assembly. The major goals of the assembly program are to:

• Bring the community together in a shared endeavor.
• Give students opportunities to organize programs to further develop their leadership abilities.
• Support the academic and co-curricular programs through examinations of current events and issues.
• Celebrate the performing arts program through theatrical, dance, and musical performances.
• Bring in guest speakers and presenters to expose students to a variety of voices and perspectives from outside of the community.
