Weeks of Adventure
Entering 4th grade - Entering 7th grade
Ethical Culture Campus, Manhattan

Following a successful first year, Weeks of Adventure has extended participation to 7th graders. Take advantage of one of the world's great cities by exploring landmarks as well as off-the-beaten-path sites in New York City. Fourth, 5th, 6th, and 7th graders will have the opportunity to discover and enjoy the city's rich cultural heritage through visits to museums, theaters, neighborhood walks, and markets. The overall theme is discovery through a variety of modes such as music, art, poetry, dance, and history — just to name a few. A culminating project will end the week to showcase what students discovered and learned.

Program Director
Rochelle Reodica – Rochelle is a Learning Specialist for Fieldston Middle and Upper Schools. Prior to joining ECF, Rochelle was a director at the Sylvan Learning Centers in Manhattan, where she developed their first summer camp program in collaboration with Time for Kids. Her experience with program development and education ensures that Weeks of Adventure will be a cultural experience you won’t want your kids to miss!

 Staff
Each group has a leader, who is a teacher or assistant teacher. Depending on group size, each group may also have a counselor, who is a high school junior or senior. The number of counselors will depend on the number in each group; however, a ratio of one counselor per eight students will be in place to ensure appropriate safety and supervision.
