Over the first week of spring break a group featuring 7th and 8th graders travelled to Rome, Italy! We went to multiple attractions like The Colosseum, The Forum, Largo Argentina, St. Peter's Basilica and The Sistine Chapel-- just to name a few. We also took a day trip to Florence where we went to The Duomo and The Accademia Museum where the Statue of St. David stands. We ate delicious food like lasagna, pasta, and pizza, and exotic meals like escargot. On the last day, we visited the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. We all threw coins in the fountain, making a wish to come back another time. Our tour guide Rebecca was amazing and allowed us to have a great time in Italy. She was knowledgeable. Whether it was learning, walking or eating she always had a smile on her face that always brightened the mood. The Rome trip was very exciting the group learned lots of interesting facts about Rome. We all had lots of fun!
