Incoming Families

All students must have a completed electronic health record in Magnus Health before school begins. Required forms include the Student Vital Health Record, Annual Physical, Immunization Record, Consent to Treatment, and Over-the-Counter Medication Consent. Additional forms may be required for specific conditions or prescriptions.

Forms can be submitted online or via the Magnus app, where you can upload photos of signed documents. Please submit all forms by the school’s stated deadline to allow time for review and follow-up.

All Fieldston Upper students are expected to have a laptop to bring to school. Families who receive financial aid from ECFS may be eligible for financial assistance with purchasing.

Fieldston Middle students are given a Chromebook to use while at school, but they do need access to a computer with a web browser at home for schoolwork. The Financial Aid Office is limited to providing assistance for the purchase of Chromebooks for Fieldston Middle students.

4th and 5th Graders at Ethical Culture and Fieldston Lower will need access to a computer with a web browser at home for schoolwork. If you would like to purchase a laptop for home use, we recommend purchasing a Chromebook for your child. The Financial Aid Office is limited to providing assistance for the purchase of Chromebooks for elementary school students.

To ensure that our School offices have current information for your family and are able to reach you via mail, email, and phone, it is important that you fill out the New Student Information form at your earliest convenience.

Information on purchasing or renting summer reading materials and fall course materials via the online bookstore is shared over the summer.

Fall orientation dates across all divisions are shared every summer. More details will follow from your respective divisions.

New students will receive ECFS accounts including email accounts in the summer.

New parents/guardians receive their username and login instructions in May/early June. Families enrolled in a tuition payment plan will receive this information in March.
