Where’d all the time go? Before our Class of 2026 Where’d all the time go? Before our Class of 2026 heads out into the world, we asked them to stop by and recreate some memories from their time at ECFS. While the classrooms and hallways may look the same, it’s clear that our students have grown and flourished in their years here.
Ethical Culture 5th Graders showed their entrepren Ethical Culture 5th Graders showed their entrepreneurial spirit with this year’s Legacy Gift School Store!

The Legacy Gift is an essential part of the 5th Grade Ethics curriculum and serves as a culmination of students’ time at Ethical Culture. Each year, the class chooses a charity with a mission that they believe is important, and spends time throughout the year fundraising to support the organization! This year, students collaborated to create the items sold in the store, which ranged from Fieldston Athletics trading cards to handmade jewelry, then marketed and sold their items to the community, with all proceeds going to the Hudson Guild and the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen!
Congratulations to the brilliant student filmmaker Congratulations to the brilliant student filmmakers who shared their work with the community at Saturday’s Fieldston Film Festival! The theater was filled with creative energy as students screened their films, which ranged from laugh-out-loud comedies to horror movies with thoughtful social commentary. After the screenings, viewers heard from the filmmakers themselves, who reflected on their work, the process of collaboration, and how they’ve grown as artists this year!
At Arts Night, we celebrated the achievements of o At Arts Night, we celebrated the achievements of our remarkable Fieldston Upper artists! From a gallery walk featuring ceramics, photography, architecture, and more to performances from musicians and thespians, the night was an inspiring reminder of the creativity and talent of our students. We also celebrated our seniors, whose artistry has lit up the stage and decorated the Fieldston campus for many years, and wished them well as they continue on to college!
