The Fieldston track was all pink today as students The Fieldston track was all pink today as students participated in ECFS’s annual breast cancer walk! 🧡🩷

Organized by Fieldston Lower P.E. teacher Danielle Gabriel, who is a survivor of breast cancer herself, this event reminds our students of the ethical impact they can make with even the simplest action – for each mile walked, a dollar will be donated to directly support a community member living with breast cancer. Thank you to Coach Danielle and the P.E. department for organizing this event!
There’s a chill in the air and fall athletics ar There’s a chill in the air and fall athletics are in full swing! If you haven’t made it out to support a game or match, there’s still time. Head to the Athletics page at the link in our bio for schedules, standings, and more!

Congratulations to our Fieldston Upper Water Polo team, who are currently top of the league and undefeated at 8-0. Go Eagles! 🦅🧡
Thank you to the 40 volunteers across all ECFS div Thank you to the 40 volunteers across all ECFS divisions who came out to support @grassrootsgroceryny last Saturday! 🧡

Volunteers helped package over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce, including seasonal favorites like corn, tomatoes, and blackberries, which were distributed to families across Upper Manhattan, Harlem and the Bronx. We appreciate you all showing up for our neighbors – stay tuned for more volunteer opportunities in the spring!
Ethical Culture 5th Graders had an amazing time at Ethical Culture 5th Graders had an amazing time at Ashokan! 🏕️🧡

Over their three days at the center, students learned about wilderness survival, local ecology, traditional crafts like blacksmithing, and so much more! These hands-on experiences illuminate concepts they’ve discovered in their classes and strengthen our students’ connection to the wider community and natural world.

The entire grade also had the chance to bond as they canoed, conquered the ropes course, and sat around the campfire. It was a great way to welcome 5th Grade into their final year at Ethical Culture and a reminder of their shared commitment to exploration, collaboration, and leadership!
