Fieldston Upper’s Ethics in Technology class asks Fieldston Upper’s Ethics in Technology class asks students to grapple with some of the most relevant ethical questions of our time. We asked students Dominique M. ’27, Jade R. ’27, and Jake S. ’27 to reflect on what they’ve learned and how the class is preparing them for the real world. If you missed it in Friday’s Fieldnotes, make sure to watch the full video on ECFS’s Youtube!
Happy Founder’s Day, ECFS! On Friday, we gathered Happy Founder’s Day, ECFS!

On Friday, we gathered to honor the legacy of our founder, Felix Adler. Through speeches and songs, we remembered his vision of a school that teaches students the importance of ethics not just as an academic subject, but as an integral part of our lives. Founder’s Day reminds us of the enduring importance of ethical education and the unique way ECFS prepares students to embrace the world.

The day is also special for our senior class, as it ushers in a month of celebration as they prepare to graduate and head out into the world. They heard words of wisdom from our alumni speaker Robert A. Pruzan ’81, who shared his own memories of Founder’s Day, and reminisced on their time in our Lower and Middle Divisions by singing the school songs from all four divisions.

Moments like Founder’s Day remind us of the joy and pride we feel for our School and our remarkable community of Eagles.
