Hi ECFS families,

We hope your summer was restorative 🏖️😎. If screen time dipped — and then spiked once school started — you’re not alone. Let’s compare notes and get ahead of it.

The @ECFS Tech Working Group is organizing a year-long series of meetings to share experiences, track policy updates, and make technology work for our kids — not against them.  Each month, we will host a meeting on a different topic.  This kickoff meeting is about your back-to-school tech plan at home.  

The meeting will take place on Friday September 19th at 12pm on Zoom. Please RSVP with this form to get the Zoom link.

  • What changed in ECFS tech policies — and what it means at home
  • Suggestions from leading researchers on screen time limits
  • Family tech agreements — quick templates you can adapt
  • Parental controls — iOS, Android, Chromebooks — simple, effective settings
  • New device this summer? — tips for responsibility and boundaries
  • Open Q&A — what’s working, what’s not

Join us and please spread the word to other ECFS parents/guardians.  This meeting is for all parents at ECFS – from PreK to the 12th grade.  There will be something for everyone.
