At ECFS, we are committed to being good neighbors. Our community regularly participates in service projects for local organizations, and we offer space rentals to people and organizations from throughout the city. Our students even help tend the trees on 64th Street, next to our Manhattan campus. If you have any questions about how to work with the school, or general questions about any of our programs in the neighborhood, please contact Kyle Wilkie-Glass at firstname.lastname@example.org

Over the summer, we’ll be working on renovations across both our historic campuses, transforming beloved spaces into cutting-edge incubators of progressive education.
Over Summer 2019, the Student Commons will undergo an interior renovation complete with new lighting, modular lounge seating, air conditioning, a gender inclusive restroom, and a refresh to the wood columns, ceiling, and walls. Due to the project's interior nature and location on campus, we do not expect this construction to impact our neighbors.
Over Summer 2019, the basement of the 700's building, which is currently home to the Design Center and our facilities receiving area, will undergo an interior renovation to transform the space into two separate design studios, a digital design lab, and a press center. The spaces will be complete with 3-D printers, woodcutting machines, computer workstations, and state-of-the-art printing equipment. Due to the project's interior nature and location on campus, we do not expect this construction to impact our neighbors.
Over Summer 2019, the basement level of the Ethical Culture campus will undergo an interior renovation to create a new music room, complete with new millwork and acoustical wall treatments, a new art room with increased storage and pin-up space for art work, and a new wood shop with upgraded workbenches and display monitors. Due to the project's interior nature, we do not expect this construction to impact our neighbors.
We rent our facilities year-round for a variety of different events, including conferences, meetings, and team and club practices. Our two campuses — one in the Bronx and one in Manhattan — offer myriad options for indoor and outdoor events.
We reserve the right to rent our facilities to organizations and individuals whose programs align with our educational philosophy and mission.
